Cristiano Ronaldo Gets Five Matches Ban For Pushing Referee In Sunday El Clasico

Cristiano Ronaldo has been handed a five-match ban after shoving referee Ricardo de Burgos Bengoetxea moments after being sent off during last night's win over Barcelona.

Ronaldo scored with a beautiful strike to make it 2-1 in the 80th minute and earned a yellow card for taking off his shirt to flex his muscles at Camp Nou.

The Real Madrid star was booked again just two minutes later for diving in the area and reacted to the decision by shoving the referee Ricardo de Burgos Bengoetxea from behind.

Ronaldo will now miss Wednesday's second leg in Madrid and four La Liga matches. He was also fined £2,700.
