Federal Court Suspends Dino Melaye Recall

Senator representing Kogi West Senator Dino Melaye has revealed that a federal high court at Abuja has halted his recall from the house.

Dino Melaye revealed in recent tweet saying

"Thank You Jesus. Status quo should be maintained says Federal High Court Abuja on the fake recall case. Yahaya Bello is a loser."

Consequently, Ekweremadu noted that the recall process of Melaye by the Kogi state government is an exercise in futility, stating that there are provisions and procedures to be followed on how recall process is carried out.

Ekweremadu said Section 69 of the constitution is the reason Senator Dino Melaye cannot be recalled.
