Nigerian Man Arrested For Dating Scam In India

A Nigerian man has been arrested in India for a dating fraud. Police officials said that the gang committed at least 14 frauds in 10 days. Trouble started for the group after police checked one of the accused man’s bank account and found transaction of more than Rs 10 lakh in this period.

The accused were identified Kenena Solomon, 41, a resident of Victoria Island in Nigeria, and Kaushal Prasad Gupta,35, resident in New Delhi. The gang members would befriend girls on matrimonial sites, posing as non-resident Indians.
