Lagos State Government Demolishes Sabo Market, Ikorodu Overnight (Pics, Video)

The Lagos state Government demolished Sabo market, Ikorodu overnight without giving any notice. Traders arrived the market this morning only find their shops destroyed, leaving many in tears.

Demolishing vehicles arrived at the Market around 5am to demolish the market.

According to a twitter user whose father was a victim of this incident claimed that there was no notice or announcement. "Equipment that just came in. The crushers. The grinders. The generator. Everything destroyed. I can't even face my father" she said

"Caterpillars arrived at 5am. Especially on a Thursday when people don't come in till 10am because of the compulsory sanitation" she said
