Belgium star Hazard has returned to his sparkling best form this season, contributing 14 goals and five assists to Chelsea’s charge towards a fifth Premier League title in 12 years.
After the FA Cup semi-final victory over Tottenham, Fabregas said team-mate Hazard could reach the level of Lionel Messi if he was “selfish” and showed greater “killer instinct”.
But Conte said: “In my team, I don’t want selfish players. I prefer to lose a game than to have a selfish player.“For me, it’s sad to listen to this”. “I don’t want this and I can’t accept this and I don’t want it in my club.”
Hazard came off the bench to devastating effect at Wembley at the weekend, scoring the Blues’ crucial third goal before teeing up Nemanja Matic’s late thunderbolt.
